Col. Kevin Cotman, commander of the 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, and several members of the Rest Assured Team’s staff, hosted Victoria Woodards, Mayor of Tacoma, during a special-invitation meeting to discuss the future of community partnership among the 593d ESC and the city of Tacoma, May 30, 2024, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The 593d ESC is aligned with the city of Tacoma through the JBLM Community Connector program, which creates opportunities for the Soldiers on the Rest Assured team to be present in their surrounding community while focusing on all aspects of service, on and off the installation.
