De Gracia, to discuss opportunities for collaboration in Cagayan, Philippines, May 28, 2024. 3rd MLR’s civil affairs team and their PMC counterparts have been working with local government officials to strengthen community relations and plan future cooperation events. The meeting was part of the Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum, a series of bilateral exchanges and training opportunities between U.S. Marines and Philippine Marines aimed at bolstering the Philippine Marine Corps’ Coastal Defense strategy while supporting the modernization efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
