Participants in the Connecticut National Guard's first-ever Infantry Day listen to Capt. Russell Gong, the officer in charge of the event, prior to separating into groups to rappel from the rappel tower and learn more about weapon systems used by the infantry. Infantry Day allowed civilians and currently serving service members the ability to get a glimpse at what it's like to be a member of the Connecticut National Guard's 1-102nd Infantry Regiment.
