Maj. Jack Gibson was inspired by his grandfather, a WWII Ranger with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, to become an Army Ranger. He entered the Army as a Medical Service Corps officer before transitioning to a judge advocate and later earned his Ranger tab and Ranger scroll as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
