U.S. Marine Corps General Christopher J. Mahoney, Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, center, arrives aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) at General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk shipyard, June 5, 2024. During the visit, Mahoney toured the ship and spoke with subject matter experts to deepen understanding of the readiness, capabilities, and warfighting capacities of the vessel and to strengthen existing relationships with key leaders of the shipyard.
