    DC-3A "Spirit of Douglas" flies along the Hudson Valley, New York, May 17, 2024. "Spirit of Douglas" served in the United States Army Air Forces, or USAAF, under the Caribbean Wing of the Air Transport Command before being transferred to the British Royal Air Force on Sept. 10, 1942.
