U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Adam Moss, a pilot assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Waesche (WMSL-751), offers patches to members of the Japan Coast Guard during a tour of the Waesche in Maizuru, Japan, June 5, 2024. Coast Guardsmen from the Waesche guided members of the Japan and Republic of Korea Coast Guards through the cutter to showcase the capabilities and living conditions onboard. Waesche is deployed to the Indo-Pacific to advance relationships with ally and partner nations to build a more stable, free, open and resilient region with unrestricted, lawful access to the Maritime Commons.
