U.S. Marines Gen. Eric M. Smith, commandant of the Marine Corps, left, and Sgt. Maj Carlos A. Ruiz, sergeant major of the Marine Corps, hosted a town hall with Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 11, 2024. The town hall allowed Marines and Sailors to receive information on the current state of the Marine Corps from the highest-level leadership within the Corps. During the forum, Gen.
