Ryans, II, the commanding general for Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and the Western Recruiting Region, speaks to educators from Recruiting Stations Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Sacramento following a morning colors ceremony as part of the 2024 Educators’ Workshop at MCRD San Diego, California, June 7, 2024. Participants of the workshop visited MCRD San Diego and other Marine Corps bases to observe recruit training and gain a better understanding about the transformation process recruits undergo to United States Marines.
