Jackson Wrubel, an attendee of Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego’s Educators’ Workshop, descends a rappel tower during a fast-rope and abseiling event as part of the 2024 EWS at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, June 6, 2024. Educators from Recruiting Stations Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Sacramento visited MCRD San Diego and other Marine Corps bases to observe recruit training and gain a better understanding about the transformation process recruits undergo to United States Marines. Educators also received classes and briefs on the benefits that are provided to service members in the United States armed forces.
