Troopers from the 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, a Virginia National Guard unit assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade during their deployment to Poland, walk forward to assess their shot-grouping on their targets after an iteration of target practice with their M4A2 Carbine Assault Rifles on Camp Karliki, Zagan, Poland, June 12, 2024. The troopers are regularly drilled on combat skills and weapons proficiency in support of the 1st Cavalry Division's mission in EUCOM to defend NATO allies in the regions they are deployed. Together, we are stronger and more capable than ever, and we will continue to be committed to enhancing regional security and stability through combined training and operations.
