Col. Ramil Codina, outgoing 92nd Medical Group commander, center, relinquishes the 92nd MDG guidon to Col. Chesley Dycus, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, during the 92nd MDG change of command ceremony at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, June 12, 2024. During the ceremony, Codina relinquished command to Dycus before Col. Matthew Pfeiffer assumed command of the 92nd MDG. The change of command ceremony is a long-standing tradition that enables all members of a given unit to formally welcome the new commander and recognize the leadership of the outgoing commander.
