U.S. Marines with the 2d Marine Division band perform for guests at the Marine Forces Special Operations Command change of command ceremony at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 11, 2024. During the ceremony, MARSOC bid farewell to Maj. Gen. Matthew G. Trollinger and welcomed Maj. Gen. Peter D. Huntley. Trollinger relinquished command after leading the special operations forces unit since May 2022. Huntley assumed command at the start of his fourth tour at MARSOC, having previously served as a battalion commander, a regimental commander and as the MARSOC deputy commander.
