Team Nova, representing the Manipal Academy of Higher Education from Karnataka, India, received first place in the AutoNav Design Competition and sixth place overall at of the 31st annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition June 3 at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Collegiate teams from local, out-of-state, and international institutions designed and competed autonomous vehicle systems in the four-day event.
