Ecuadorian marines provide covering fire during exercise Resolute Sentinel 24 at Salinas training range, Peru, June 12, 2024. U.S. Marine with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, trained alongside their counterparts and practiced fire and maneuver training to enhance familiarity, speed and lethality in combat engagements. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among the United States, France, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil.
