A Douglas C-47 Skytrain sits on the Wiesbaden Army Airfield during the 75th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift held on Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany, June 15, 2024. This C-47 was the first troop transport to cross the English Channel on D-Day. The aircraft’s name, “That’s All, Brother,” was emblazoned on the nose of the aircraft as a message from the Allied forces to Hitler that his reign was over. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Andrew Clark)
