Gen. David Maxwell, the commanding general of MCICOM, and a native of Oregon, during an award ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 10, 2024. Hospitalman Oddison White was awarded the MCICOM life-saving award for immediately responding to an incident requiring emergency medical service where he provided lifesaving resuscitation that directly contributed to the patient surviving.
