A Department of Defense Alert Mass Notification advised subscribers on Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to take shelter from a simulated tornado on post as part of a full-scale exercise June 12. When Munson was notified of the simulated Tornado Warning word was passed over Munson’s public address system announcing the drill, directing all those in the facility to head to the basement.
