On June 13, 2024 SPC Laniya Bealer attached to the 77th Theater Aviation Brigade was awarded a challenge coin by Brg. Gen. Leland “Tony” Shepherd. Land Component Commander. Bealer demonstrated beyond her rank during Warfighter 24-4 while performing entry control point duties for the 77th TAB, she is steadfast in adhering to the policies of performing ECP duties, in most cases without a noncomminsed officer being present. She has implemented new rules that ensure the 77th TAB control point area remains free of any data or security breaches so the brigade staff can execute their mission. Warfighter 24-4 is a multi-state exercise conducted by the Army National Guard to test and train for battle readiness.
