U.S. Navy hospital corpsmen celebrate the 126th birthday of their occupational field during Integrated Training Exercise 4-24 at Marine Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, June 17, 2024. Hospital corpsmen are enlisted medical Sailors who fill critical roles by serving in Marine units, military treatment facilities, and aboard submarines and surface ships as independent duty corpsmen. Reserve Marines and Sailors have come together from across the nation to form an integrated Marine Air-Ground Task Force led by 23rd Marine Regiment, to take part in a live-fire, combined arms exercise that will better prepare Marine Forces Reserve in its mission to augment and reinforce the Active Component.
