Shipping supplies are staged before being loaded into a CH-53E Super Stallion at Subic Bay International Airport, Philippines, June 16, 2024. The Super Stallion, attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, provided air transportation to streamline the mail delivery process for Marines and Sailors with 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division currently deployed in the Philippines. The mail operation was part of Marine Aviation Support Activity 24, an annual Philippine-U.S. military exercise focused on mutual defense, strengthening relationships, and rehearsing aviation concepts.
