Apra Harbor, Guam (June 19, 2024) — The dedicated Harbor Patrol Unit is always on watch, with a mission to detect, deter and defend. The team provides anti-terrorism and force protection for Apra Harbor and the entire Naval Base Guam. With highly trained coxswains and skilled Sailors, they safeguard our seas ensuring the safe passage of all vessels, including the forward-deployed and visiting ships. The Harbor Patrol Unit provided security for the visiting aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Their vigilance and dedication play a crucial role in maintaining maritime security.
