U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Robert Guyette, the commanding officer of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, taxis in an F-35B Lightning II aircraft after returning to Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, NT, Australia, from Clark Air Base, Philippines, in support of Marine Aviation Support Activity 24, June 16, 2024. VMFA-214 flew four F-35B aircraft to Clark Air Base in support of the MASA 24 littoral live fire exercise, showcasing the Philippine-U.S. combined capabilities of operating fifth-generation aircraft in the region.
