U.S. Army Col. Dwight Domengeaux, commander of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, salutes the formation of the 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, during a change of command alongside the incoming and outgoing commanders Lt. Col. James D. Small and Lt. Col. Trinidad N. Chavez on June 20, 2024 on Fort Bliss, Texas. Domengeaux said. "They are expert infantry and a cohesive team commanded by one of the Army's most talented officers. Although the Regulars are losing a phenomenal leader in Lt. Col.
