A U.S. Air Force explosive ordnance disposal technician reviews the x-ray of an inactive improvised explosive device during a simulated bomb threat at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, June 13, 2024. The x-ray allowed the technician to see the mechanisms inside the device before trying to disarm it.
