Sailors and staff bid fair winds and following seas to Lieutenant Commander Kyle Herring during an awards ceremony conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Herring served as a Family Medicine Staff Physician in the clinic’s Patient Centered Medical Home from July 2020. While there, Herring provided medical care to over 1,200 patients while completing specialty training and dedicating over 480 hours to Uniformed Services Medical Students.
Herring received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal in recognition of his service to MCAS Cherry Point and surrounding communities.
