PORT HEUNEME, Calif. (June 26, 2024) Cpl. Kelsea Trecek, U.S. Army Animal Care Technician, from New Orleans, assigned to Veterinary Readiness Activity-San Diego, provide care for Military Working Dogs (MWD) and government owned animals at Veterinary Treatment Facility, Port Hueneme onboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
