ANNAPOLIS, Md. (June 27, 2024) Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro speaks to midshipman candidates from the class of 2028 during Induction Day 2024. I-Day marks the beginning of a demanding six-week indoctrination period called Plebe Summer that is intended to transition the candidates from civilian to military life.
