Vanessa Pusel, a physician's assistant with Alpha Surgical Company, 3d Medical Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force is familiarized with the ventilator circuit of a portable ventilator in III MEF’s first ever offering of the fundamentals of critical care support course at the Medical Skills Training Center, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, June 20, 2024. FCCS teaches Fleet Marine Force clinicians the knowledge and skill required to contribute to critical care teams in both hospital and prolonged casualty care settings in contested environments.
