U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Marvin Almario, a Hospital Corpsman with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) and a native of Chicago, Illinois, addresses his platoon after receiving the Fleet Marine Force Warfare Insignia aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, June 3, 2024. The insignia demonstrates a Sailor’s ability and dedication to fully integrate within a Marine unit. The Wasp Amphibious Ready Group-24th MEU (SOC) is conducting operations in U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations to support high-end warfighting exercises while demonstrating speed and agility operating in a dynamic security environment.
