Airman from Minot North Dakota, the 5th Security Forces with the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Security Forces Squadron, fire the M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle and the M24 Sniper Weapon System at Camp Ripley Training Center in Little Falls, Minnesota, on May 29th, 2024. The Air Force began fielding the M110A1, which can fire up to a maximum effective range of 600 meters, in 2022 and it is on track to replace the M24 (Minnesota National Guard Photo by Army Staff Sgt.
