Maj. James Simons, 535th Airlift Squadron pilot, flies a 15th Wing C-17 Globemaster III around the islands of Hawaii, June 29, 2024. Simons flew the C-17 and received a refuel by a KC-46A Pegasus from the 22nd Air Refueling Wing in support of Project Magellan, the world’s longest nonstop westbound circumnavigation of the globe and the longest sortie in Air Mobility Command history.
