NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 27, 2024) NAVSTA Rota Security Forces and Sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 8, assigned to Navy Expeditionary Combat Force Europe-Africa/Task Force (CTF) 68, conduct training during an antiterrorism and emergency response regional assessment (RASS) onboard Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, June 27, 2024. As the "Gateway to the Mediterranean,” NAVSTA Rota provides U.S., NATO and allied forces a strategic hub for operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
