Task Force Pegasus Troopers and local Polish community members gather to watch fireworks to celebrate American Independence Day, July 4, 2024, in Powidz, Poland. The firework show was a part of the inaugural Polish-American Freedom Fest where U.S. Army Soldiers met with local community members to exchange cultures and build relationships. The 1st Cavalry Division and Task Force Pegasus recognize the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe. Through community engagements, they continue to strengthen the bonds between local communities, assuring NATO allies of the partnership and cooperation. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Jacob Nunnenkamp)
