Almost 300 members from across AFRC attended the Enlisted Symposium in Arlington, VA where members received briefings covering professional development, world events, intelligence, social media used by military members, standards of excellence, the human weapon system, and enlisted force development. A special banquet was held where the Air Force Reserve Command’s Annual Awards Winners were recognized as the best of the best. Additionally, there was a CCMD/MAJCOM Panel where Command Chiefs from USTRANSCOM, PACAF, AMC, AFSOC discussed with the audience how their organizations are adapting to meet the Great Power Competition and how the Air Force Reserve fits into that plan.
