Future U.S. Army officers conduct a one mile run with Command Sgt. Maj. Jonathan Reffeor, senior enlisted advisor of the 3rd Infantry Division, at Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 11, 2024. The training aimed to honor Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe. Cashe’s Bradley Fighting Vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while engaging with the enemy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
