CARIBBEAN SEA (July 09, 2024) Cmdr. Joseph Hamilton, from Green Pond, South Carolina, commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), looks on to Colombian Naval corvette ARC Antioquia (FM-53). Porter, part of Destroyer Squadron Two Two, is operating in the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to enhance capability, improve interoperability, and strengthen maritime partnerships with countries throughout the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
