U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Trevor Coady, rappel master and trainer, demonstrates a rope-wrapping technique for U.S. Airmen and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 7th Mission Support Command during fast-rope and rappelling certification training July 8, 2024, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The 435th Security Forces Squadron and the 435th Contingency Training Squadron hosted the training to sustain their trainer’s Air Assault and Rappel Master certifications and provide service members the opportunity to certify individual fast-rope and rappelling skills.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
