Italian Air Force F-2000 Eurofighter Typhoons and F-35 Lightning IIs undergo post-flight maintenance at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, June 30, 2024. The ITAF stopped in CENTCOM as a part of Operation Indo-Pacific Jump (IPJ) 2024. IPJ is an opportunity for ITAF personnel to participate in multiple Indo-Pacific exercises including Pitch Black 2024 (PBK24) in Australia, and Rising Sun 2 in Japan, as well as to train with the Italian Navy in the open sea.
