    Naval Construction Group ONE

Naval Construction Group One (NCG-1) Command Master Chief Kevin M. Nolan, renders a salute during a time-honored Change of Command Ceremony for NCG-1 as Capt. Angel Santiago, CEC, right, assumed command from Capt. Gordon Meek III, CEC, left, onboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). NCG1 provides the required engineering support that the Navy and Nation needs to construct and maintain base facilities, repair battle damaged facilities, conduct defensive operations as required, and to meet disaster preparedness and recovery missions. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island. NBVC is the home of the Pacific Seabees, West Coast E-2D Hawkeyes, 3 warfare centers and 110 tenants. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.j.g. Drew Verbis)
