Members of Senator Bob Casey's team met with Buffalo District program manager, Mike Asquith, and Buffalo District chief of programs and project management, Amanda Meyer, for a tour of the Preque Isle sand replenishment site, Erie, PA, July 17, 2024. This federal and state funded Beach Nourishment Program maintains the beaches which is an important economic resource for the City of Erie, and also encourages sand migration to rebuild/maintain Gull Point which is a crucial environmental habitat for the area.
