A U.S. Air Force crew chief assigned to the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron marshals an MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft assigned to the 119th Wing on the flight line at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, July 9, 2024. Members of the 20th Attack Squadron, a geographically separated unit of the 432nd Wing, landed the aircraft on the base for the first time and are able to maintain visual contact with the crew chief via a 360-degree multispectral targeting system.
