A weapons load crew assigned to the 179th Fighter Generation Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan, participated in the 18th Maintenance Group's 2nd quarter weapons load competition on July 19, 2024. The competition consisted of a dress and appearance inspection, written exam, toolbox inspection, and loading two air-to-air munitions; and AIM-9x Sidewinder and an AIM-129 AMRAAM.
