During the ceremony, Dunagan relieved May as commanding officer of COMOMAG. COMOMAG serves as the Navy’s Mine Warfare Subject Matter Expert, providing technical direction for the maintenance, assembly, and readiness of the War Reserve mine stockpile. Specifically, they exercise and train (ET) mine assets, with a vision to excel in preparing a modern, operationally ready mine stockpile for future military engagements through character, competence, and teamwork.
