Paulina Shrader, a Producer/Director with the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, Video Production Branch (MEDVID TV), Learning Technology Multimedia Division, was presented with the Order of St Gabriel Award from the Army Public Affairs Association July 24, 2024 at a ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX. Shrader was recognized for her support in the planning, development and execution of the annual Army Visual Information Steering Committee.
The Chief of Army Public Affairs officially designated Saint Gabriel as the patron saint of Army Public Affairs in 2014. The Army Public Affairs Association, in collaboration with OCPA, designed, approved and developed the Military Order of Saint Gabriel program to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the U.S. Army Public Affairs community and practice.
The Army Public Affairs Association was founded Feb. 13, 2009 to provide a voice to the community of current, former and future Army communicators and is open to all Public Affairs Soldiers – Active Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve and Army Public Affairs Civilians.
