U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit unload main assault packs from a MV-22 aboard the amphibious assault ship the USS America (LHA 6), July 23, 2024. Combat cargo is tasked with the handling, transport and safety of ship cargo on the flight deck due to the dangerous environment and hazards that present themselves.
