YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 12, 2024) Rear Adm. Robert J. Hawkins Chief, United States Navy Nurse Corps and Defense Health Agency Director, Strategy, Plans and Analytics, Education and Training visited United States Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (USNMRTC) Yokosuka on July 11 for a multi-day visit. During his visit, Hawkins met with Nurse Corps officers and enlisted Sailors during breakfast and lunch in the hospital galley, made office calls with command and regional leadership, toured United States Naval Hospital Yokosuka hospital and Branch Health Clinic Atsugi facilities to see daily operations and meet the Sailors, staff, and civilian personnel at each location.
