240725-N-WV584-1027 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 25, 2024) Quartermaster 2nd Class Osiris Zatarain, from Greely, Colo., left and Quartermaster 3rd Class Martina Jeronimo, from Forks, Wash., stand watch on the bridge of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111). Spruance, assigned to the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations. As an integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific in addition to providing realistic and relevant training necessary to flawlessly execute our Navy’s timeless roles of sea control and power projection.
