U.S. Army Capt. John R. Resch won the costume contest at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) BBQ Cookoff, June 28, 2024. The BBQ Cookoff marked the final day of Army Heritage Month, and in addition to the costume contest, included a BBQ cookoff competition, BBQ and other food available for purchase, a raffle, cornhole games, and an impromptu water balloon fight.
