U.S. Marine Corps Col. Rory D. Kent, the outgoing commanding officer of the Marine Corps Information Operations Center, relinquishes command to the oncoming commanding officer, U.S. Marine Corps Col. Thomas J. Heller, during a change of command ceremony for the Marine Corps Information Operations Center at the Clubs of Quantico on Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA, July 29, 2024. Col. Heller relieved Col. Kent after serving as the commanding officer of MCIOC after two years. The MCIOC provides operational support to the Marine Air Ground Tasks Forces and additional components throughout Marine Corps operations to provide subject matter expertise within the information environment.
